Classified Ad Description
WikiHorseWorld.com ("WikiHorseWorld") supports a Classified Advertising system which enables you, ("The Advertiser"), to advertise Horses or Equine Products, Services, or Events. All Classified Advertisements ("Classified Ads", "Advertisements", or "Ads") on WikiHorseWorld are currently and indefinitely free. When you place or post a Classified Ad on WikiHorseWorld.com ("The Website"), you are given an entire Web Page on which you can advertise your Horse or Equine Product, Service, or Event. WikiHorseWorld provides a wide variety of editing tools so that you can personalize your Classified Ad to look and read as you desire. You are free to edit your Ad or add additional content to your Ad as often or as many times as desired.
Classified Ad Content
There are no specific restrictions regarding the amount of text or the number of photos or videos contained in Classified Ads nor is there any specific limit on the length of your Classified Ad webpage. WikiHorseWorld's Ad Layout feature allows you move and resize all the components of your Ad and enables you to extend the length of your Classified Ad webpage as needed. Classified Ads can be edited multiple times and as often as desired. Classified Ads must meet the following criteria:
- Classified Ads must be, in some reasonable way, "Horse-Related".
- Classified Ads must be displayed in one specific category (Horses, Products, Services, or Events). Although permitted, we discourage Classified Ads which contain items from more than one category as Users will not be able to find both items via our Search features.
- Classified Ads must strictly adhere to WikiHorseWorld's Terms of Use Agreement which is incorporated herein by reference.
- Classified Ads must not contain flashing, dancing, or moving elements (other than videos), such as animated gif images, which may be irritating to other users.
You are free (within reason) to add as much content (i.e. text, photos, and videos) to your Classified Ads as you wish. Please bear in mind that Classified Ads which contain an excessive amount of content will tend to load very slowly for Users with slower Internet connections, and not at all for dial-up Users. WikiHorseWorld reserves the right to remove Classified Ads which, in our sole discretion, contain an excessive amount of content. For example, a Classified Ad containing more than 30 pages of text, more than 20 photos, or more than 10 videos may be considered excessive.
When you advertise a Horse using a Horse Classified Ad, you will be able to enter the pedigree, ancestry, or lineage information for that Horse into WikiHorseWorld's Pedigree Database by using the "Add Pedigree" button located on the "Registration Tab". By entering a Horse's pedigree, ancestry, or lineage information into WikiHorseWorld's Free Pedigree Database, you thereby agree to all the terms specified in WikiHorseWorld's Pedigree Database license as described in WikiHorseWorld's Terms of Use Agreement.
Classified Ad Creation
Classified Ads can be created quickly and easily using the Classified Ad Entry form. This form allows you to enter all the detailed information for your Horse or Equine Product, Service, or Event then add your own personal artistic flare to your Classified Ad using our graphics-oriented "What You See Is What You Get" (WYSIWYG) editor. This editor allows extensive editing of the body of your Classified Ad so that the content can be designed and personalized as you desire. Once the content has been added to your Classified Ad, our Ad Layout feature can be used to move, re-size, and re-color all the text, photo, and video components within your Ad to further customize it to your liking. WikiHorseWorld allows you to create and save your Ad(s) without immediately "Activating" or displaying the Ad(s) on our Website. There is no need to finish your entire Ad all at once. You can take your time, adjust and perfect your Ad's content just the way you want it and when you're ready, Activate your Ad(s) to begin displaying them on our Website.

WikiHorseWorld reserves the right to refuse, remove, or edit any Classified Ads which, in our sole discretion, violate our Terms of Use Agreement. In the event that any Classified Ad is removed due to a violation of our Terms of Use Agreement, WikiHorseWorld expressly reserves the right to terminate that Advertiser's account. WikiHorseWorld furthermore reserves the right to edit or delete Classified Ads without prior notice for any reason including, but not limited to, software upgrades or website technical issues, Ads which are not, in any reasonable way Horse-related, Classified Ads which contain, in our sole discretion, an excessive or unreasonable amount of content, and Ads which include flashing, dancing, or moving elements (other than videos), such as animated gif images, which may be irritating to other users. WikiHorseWorld makes no representations or guarantees regarding how often advertisements will be displayed, where advertisements may appear within search results, how often Ads may appear in our "Featured Ads" section, or the effectiveness or results of a particular advertisement.
WikiHorseWorld performs approximate currency conversions for Classified Ads. For example, if a seller lists his saddle in US dollars, and a potential buyer is searching for a saddle costing a specific amount in a different currency, the Website performs an approximate currency conversion on behalf of the potential buyer. These currency conversions are approximations only and may only be updated once per day. If a potential buyer uses a different currency than the seller, the buyer and seller need to negotiate the specific sale price and currency themselves and WikiHorseWorld assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever for inaccurate currency conversions.
WikiHorseWorld reserves the right to change this Classified Advertising Policy and the prices charged (if any) for Classified Ads at any time without prior notice. In the event that any such changes are made, all existing Classified Ads will continue to be treated under the terms, conditions, and prices (if any) as when they were placed for a period of 90 days following the change. After this 90 day period, Ads will immediately become subject to any policy changes or increases in price which may have occurred. It is the Advertiser's sole responsibility to read and understand this Classified Advertising Policy and the prices and terms associated with this Website's Classified Ads before posting a Classified Ad on this Website.
