I breed, raise, train, show and sell gaited Mountain horses in Eckert, Colorado. Most of my herd are RMHA/KMSHA registered and certified, but I also have a few MPHA horses as well. They are all basically the same kind of horse, under different registries. Mountain horses are so beautiful, and they have great temperments as well. Their 4-beat, lateral gait is sometimes called a singlefoot or rack, and it is heavenly! Trail riding is what we're all about, and the horses get plenty of it here in western Colorado. I always have horses for sale, and the majority are ones that I've started from scratch. Come by and see us, if you're interested in the breed, or would just like a test ride!!
