Still consider my self a biginner rider, and I have a 12 yr son who loves horses as much as I do. Unlike me he seems to be a natural despite his limited exposure to the horse world. He picked up extremely fast however. last year our favorit day of the week was the day we had our riding lessons on. I have been riding off and on since I was a kid but untill a few months ago never had formal training. I've yet to learn how to ride on an english saddle though, so I prefer western. I love horses and have wanted one since as far back as I can remember. Now that I'm finally grown up I'm looking for my first horse! we have a bording stable less then a mile from my house that is great. after a year we should have our barn and our fencing up around our land so that we can keep our horse there.
