Dr. Jim Joyce, DVM is the owner and founder of the Southwest Veterinary Hospital in Fair Grove, Missouri. He has been a practicing equine veterinarian in the Springfield Missouri area for the past 25 years. Dr. Joyce graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. After graduation, he worked for a large racetrack veterinary practice in Cleveland, Ohio. He then moved back to Fair Grove, Missouri in 1987 and started the Southwest Veterinary Hospital where he continues to practice today.

 

The Southwest Veterinary Hospital is committed to treating all aspects of the horse's health and well being. As well as routine equine care, their services include evaluation and treatment of lameness, comprehensive mare and stallion reproductive services, digital radiology and ultrasonography, endoscopy, thermography, focused shock wave, advanced dentistry and routine surgical procedures. The Southwest Veterinary Hospital is an ambulatory and referral equine practice that provides general as well as specialized horse care and offers an in house surgical suite.
