2010 Dubai World Cup

The 2010 Dubai World Cup was the 14th running of the Dubai World Cup. The race took place on March 27, 2010, and was televised in the United States on the ABC television network and in the United Kingdom by Channel 4, whose coverage attracted criticism for finishing before the winner was confirmed.[1] This event marks the richest horse race in the world with a purse of $10,000,000. It was the first time that the event was held at the Meydan Racecourse.[2]

The race was won by Gloria de Campeao from Lizard's Desire and Allybar after a three way photo finish.[3]
