Alexis Barba


Alexis Barba is the horse trainer for Make Music For Me, a thoroughbred horse which came in 4th in the 2010 Kentucky Derby. Make Music For Me is known to have late speed which he used to improve from 20th position to finish 4th in the Kentucky Derby. This ability to close (late speed) was displayed earlier in the year in winning the 2010 Pasadena Stakes at Santa Anita Racetrack. Barba also trains Alphie's Bet, winner of the 2010 Sham Stakes also at Santa Anita Racetrack. Alexis Barba was a protege of Eddie Gregson, a horse trainer who won the Kentucky Derby with Gato Del Sol in 1982.
