Anglesey Stakes

The Anglesey Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in Ireland which is open to two-year-old thoroughbreds. It is run at the Curragh over a distance of 6 furlongs and 63 yards (1,265 metres), and it is scheduled to take place each year in July.

The event was formerly held in late August or early September. It was switched to the Irish Oaks meeting in 1997. Past winners of the Anglesey Stakes include Nijinsky (1969), Roberto (1971), Storm Bird (1980) and Woodman (1985).
