Ashford Stud

Ashford Stud in Versailles, Kentucky is the American arm of the international commercial Thoroughbred horse breeding operation Coolmore Stud of County Tipperary in the Republic of Ireland.

Thirteen stallions stand at Ashford Stud in 2009. Nine of them stand exclusively at Ashford:

  • Majestic Warrior
  • Powerscourt
  • Van Nistelrooy

Four stallions shuttle to Coolmore's Australian branch during the Southern Hemisphere breeding season:

  • Lion Heart
  • Tale of the Cat
