Athasi Stakes

The Athasi Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in Ireland which is open to thoroughbred fillies and mares aged three years or older. It is run at the Curragh over a distance of 7 furlongs (1,408 metres), and it is scheduled to take place each year in late April or early May.

The event was formerly restricted to three-year-old fillies only. Having held Group 3 status, it was downgraded to Listed level in 1987. It was opened to fillies aged four in 1993, and then to older mares in 2001. The race was promoted back to Group 3 class in 2003.
