Ballyogan Stakes

The Ballyogan Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in Ireland which is open to thoroughbred fillies and mares aged three years or older. It is run at Leopardstown over a distance of 6 furlongs (1,207 metres), and it is scheduled to take place each year in early June.

The event was formerly open to horses of either gender, and it used to be contested over 5 furlongs. From 2002 to 2004 it was temporarily switched to Cork, and on the last occasion the race's current format was introduced. It was restricted to fillies and mares only, and its distance was extended to 6 furlongs. It returned to Leopardstown in 2005.
