Ben Maher (born January 30, 1983) is an English equestrian who competes in the sport of show jumping. Now ranked 1st overall in the UK in the BSJA rankings ( British Show Jumping Association) , he has gained many achievements including competing in the 2008 Beijing Olympics on Rolette, and the Hickstead Derby in 2005 on a horse called Alfredo II.

He has many good horses at the moment he is usually riding Robin Hood W and Wonder Boy but he has many others, he competes affiliated show jumping classes , from Hickstead to HOYS ( horse of the year show )

Ben is married. His wife is Kathleen Maher, a model and a show jumper as well. Together they live in Great Britain.


On the 26th March, Maher and Wonderboy III took the top spot in the feature class of the opening day at the CSI5*-W in ‘S-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. This was the 1.50m Rabobank Prijs and he took 8000CHF for his effort.
