The Emirates Stakes is a Victoria Racing Club Group 1 Thoroughbred horserace held as part of the Melbourne Cup Carnival in early November. The race is over 1600 metres (1 mile) and is held at Flemington Racecourse. Total prize money Is AUD$1,000,000
