Chokin is a New Zealand standardbred racehorse who is notable in winning the New Zealand Trotting Cup, which is New Zealand's most prestigious horse race. [3] Chokin is also one of the few horses to have won Harold Park Paceway's presigious Miracle Mile twice. [4]

Chokin was the first 2 year old to be voted New Zealand Horse of the year. He was also the first horse to run under 4 minutes for 3200 metres when he won the 1993 Auckland Cup.
