Golden Rose Stakes

The Golden Rose Stakes is a STC Group 1 Australian Thoroughbred horse race for three year olds, run at set weights, over a distance of 1,400 metres at Rosehill Racecourse, Sydney in late August or early September. Total prizemoney for the race is AUD$1 million.


Race history

  • In 2008 the race was moved from March to August, hence two results for that year.
  • In 2009 the race was elevated to Group 1 status.
