Height of Fashion Stakes

The Height of Fashion Stakes is a Listed flat horse race in Great Britain which is open to three-year-old thoroughbred fillies. It is run at Goodwood over a distance of 1 mile, 1 furlong and 192 yards (1,986 metres), and it is scheduled to take place each year in May.

The event was established in 1972, and it was originally called the Lupe Stakes. This was in honour of Lupe, the winner of the Epsom Oaks in 1970. It was given its present title, the Height of Fashion Stakes, in 2007. This pays tribute to Height of Fashion, a winner of the Lupe Stakes who subsequently became a very successful broodmare.

The race occasionally serves as a trial for the Epsom Oaks. The only horse to have achieved victory in both events was Love Divine in 2000.
