Vincennes Racecourse

Tracks of the hippodrome

Hippodrome de Vincennes is located in Paris, France. It is used for horse racing. It has a capacity of 60,000. It was created in 1863, and rebuilt in 1879 after being destroyed in the 1870 War.

It has been used for concerts as well, hosting:

  • Queen in 1986, during their Magic Tour
  • U2 in 1987, during their The Joshua Tree Tour
  • Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band in 1988, during their Tunnel of Love Express Tour
  • Whitesnake, Aerosmith, Poison, Quireboys, Thunder in 1990, Monsters of Rock
  • AC/DC, Metallica, Queensr├┐che, The Black Crowes, Patrick Rondat in 1991, Monsters of Rock
  • Michael Jackson in 1992, during the Dangerous World Tour
  • Guns N' Roses in 1992, during the Use Your Illusion Tour.
  • Metallica in 1993, during the Nowhere Else To Roam Tour
  • U2 in 1993, during the Zoo TV Tour
