Imperial Commander (foaled 21 May 2001) is a 9 year old throughbred racehorse.

Racing career

Trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies and ridden by jockey Paddy Brennan, Imperial Commander won the Gold Cup in 2010 at the Cheltenham Festival. The horse finished ahead of favourites Kauto Star and Denman. He has also won the 2008 Paddy Power Gold Cup and the Ryanair Chase in 2009, and came 2nd to Kauto Star in the 2009 Betfair Chase.[1]
