István Szondy (born 29 December 1925 in Berettyóújfalu) is a Hungarian modern pentathlete, horse rider and Olympic champion who competed in the 1948 Summer Olympics, in the 1952 Summer Olympics and in the 1956 Summer Olympics.


Szondy received a gold medal in modern pentathlon at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki with the Hungarian team.[1]
