Jimmy Quinn (jockey)

James "Jimmy" Quinn is an Irish professional horse racing flat jockey. He is able to do the minimum weight in flat racing of 7-12.[1] Arguably the highlight of Quinn's career came when he won the Nunthorpe Stakes at York Racecourse with Kingsgate Native.[2] Quinn contributed to the debate on jockey burnout in 2006, noting that in spite of the noted practice of jockeys hurrying between meetings to maximise riding opportunities he was seeing his number of rides per season decline.[3]
