The Age Classic
The Patinack Farm Classic is a Victoria Racing Club Group One Australian Thoroughbred horse race for horses aged three years old and over, under weight for age conditions, over a distance of 1200 metres.
It is held at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne on the Saturday following the Melbourne Cup. It was run as a Group One for the first time in 2007, taking over the Group One status of the Salinger Stakes, a 1200 metre handicap run the previous Saturday.
