The Lonsdale Cup is a Group 2 flat horse race in Great Britain which is open to thoroughbreds aged three years or older. It is run at York over a distance of 2 miles and 88 yards (3,299 metres), and it is scheduled to take place each year in August.

The event was formerly classed at Listed level, and it used to be called the "Lonsdale Stakes". For a period it was contested over 1 mile, 7 furlongs and 198 yards. It was promoted to Group 3 status in 1998, and to Group 2 in 2004. On the latter occasion its name was changed to the "Lonsdale Cup". Its distance was extended by 110 yards in 2007.

The Lonsdale Cup is now held on day two of York's Ebor Festival meeting. The leading horses from the race often go on to compete in the following month's Doncaster Cup.
