The Nell Gwyn Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in Great Britain which is open to three-year-old Thoroughbred fillies. It is run on the Rowley Mile at Newmarket over a distance of 7 furlongs (1,408 metres), and it is scheduled to take place each year during the Craven Meeting in mid April.

The event was established in 1961, and it was named after Nell Gwyn (1650–1687), an English actress who was the mistress of King Charles II.

The Nell Gwyn Stakes serves as a trial for the first fillies' Classics of the European flat season. The most recent winner to achieve victory in the 1,000 Guineas was Speciosa in 2006, and the last to win the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches was Valentine Waltz in 1999.

It is now run in memory of Leslie Harrison, a long-time racing and breeding manager for Lord Howard de Walden's Plantation Stud in Newmarket, who died in February 2007.[1]
