The Newmarket Handicap is a VRC Group 1 Thoroughbred horse race held at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, Australia. The event is an open handicap race over 1200 metres (6 furlongs). Prizemoney is AUD$1,0005,000.

  • In 2007 the race was run at Caulfield Racecourse due to refurbishment work at Flemington Racecourse.
