Phoenix Sprint Stakes

The Phoenix Sprint Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in Ireland which is open to thoroughbreds aged three years or older. It is run at the Curragh over a distance of 6 furlongs (1,207 metres), and it is scheduled to take place each year in August.

The event was formerly held at Phoenix Park, and it was transferred to Leopardstown in 1991. It moved to its present venue, the Curragh, in 2002. It temporarily returned to Leopardstown in 2008 – it had been abandoned at the Curragh due to waterlogging.
