Preis der Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe

The Preis der Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe is a Group 3 flat horse race in Germany which is open to thoroughbreds aged four years or older. It is run at Baden-Baden over a distance of 2,000 metres (about 1¼ miles), and it is scheduled to take place each year in late August.

The event was formerly called the "Spreti-Rennen", and it used to be contested over 2,400 metres. It was given Group 3 status in 1972. Its distance was cut to 2,200 metres in 1987, and to the current length in 1990. The event became known as the "Preis der Badischen Sparkassen" in 1998, and this was changed to the present title in 2001.
