The Prix de Barbeville is a Group 3 flat horse race in France which is open to thoroughbreds aged four years or older. It is run at Longchamp over a distance of 3,100 metres (about 1 mile and 7½ furlongs), and it is scheduled to take place each year in late April or early May.

The event was introduced in 1889, and it was originally contested over 3,000 metres. It was named after the stud farm Haras de Barbeville, near to Bayeux, which was established in the late 19th century. The race was initially restricted to horses aged five or older, before the minimum age was lowered to four in 1905. It was abandoned throughout World War I, with no running from 1915 to 1919.

During the latter years of World War II the Prix de Barbeville was temporarily transferred to alternative venues. It was run at Auteuil in 1943, Maisons-Laffitte in 1944 and Le Tremblay in 1945. Its distance was cut to 2,400 metres in 1953, then extended to 2,600 metres in 1956, and restored to 3,000 metres in 1957. For the 1963 running the event was switched to Saint-Cloud, where it was contested over 2,800 metres. Upon its return to Longchamp the race's distance was increased to 3,100 metres. This was shortened to 3,000 metres in 1965, and then put back more permanently to 3,100 metres in 1966.

The Prix de Barbeville was moved away from its regular home for several years during the early 1990s. It took place at Saint-Cloud in 1991, 1993, 1994 and 1995, and Maisons-Laffitte in 1992. The first three races at Saint-Cloud were contested over 2,900 metres, and the initial running back at Longchamp in 1996 was over 3,000 metres.
