Rough Quest

Rough Quest (1986- ) is a Thoroughbred racehorse.

Rough Quest, with rider Mick Fitzgerald, won the 1996 Grand National, beating beat Encore Un Peu in a tight finish which resulted in a stewards enquiry, as Rough Quest appeared to drift across in front of Encore Un Peu on the run in. After the enquiry, the result stood. In his previous start Rough Quest finished runner up to Imperial Call in the 1996 Cheltenham Gold Cup.
