SAJC Breeders' Stakes

The SAJC Breeders' Stakes is a Group 3 Australian Thoroughbred horse race for horses aged 2 years old, over a distance of 1200 metres. Total prizemoney is $100,000. It is held annually at Morphettville Racecourse in Adelaide.

2002 - 2003 held over 1263m
2004 onwards held over 1200m.

Name

1955 - 1967 the race was known as the SAJC Breeders' Stakes
1968 - 1979 the race was known as the SAJC Blue Breeders' Stakes
1980 - 1983 the race was known as the SAJC Bloodhorse Breeders' Stakes
1984 - 1993 the race was known as the SAJC West End Breeders' Stakes
1994 onwards the race has been called the SAJC Breeders' Stakes.
