The Sovereign Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in Great Britain which is open to thoroughbred colts and geldings aged three years or older. It is run at Salisbury over a distance of 1 mile (1,609 metres), and it is scheduled to take place each year in August.

The event was established in 2000, and it was initially classed at Listed level. It was promoted to its present status, Group 3, in 2004. Since then the race has been sponsored by the bookmaker Totesport.

The Sovereign Stakes is now Salisbury's highest class race of the season. It is also the track's most valuable event, with a prize fund of £65,000 in 2009.
