Thousand Guineas Prelude

The Thousand Guineas Prelude is a Melbourne Racing Club Group 3 Australian Thoroughbred horse race, for three year old fillies, at set weights with penalties, over a distance of 1400 metres. It is held annually at Caulfield Racecourse in Melbourne in September. Total prize money for the race is AUD$175,000.
